At Jerry Leigh, I managed all Girls’ licensed collections and had the incredible opportunity to support the lead designer of Harajuku Mini. From sketching and CAD management to fittings and preparing the sample line for market, this role gave me hands-on experience in bringing vibrant, playful designs to life. There was plenty of hard work (and schlepping!), but each step added to the excitement of crafting collections that captured the spirit of these iconic brands/licenses. With so many resources at my fingertips, like a full sample room and screen printing facilities on-site, I could turn around samples quickly, which was invaluable for fast-paced development—I learned so much during my time on the Jerry Leigh Design team.
